Peace, Tranquility & Care

At our independent care home in Brighouse Bay, South West Scotland

We are located in the heart of Dumfries & Galloway, a region of outstanding natural beauty. Noted for its gentle way of life and spectacular scenery.. The mature trees surrounding Senwick provide shelter from the sea breeze, creating a haven for plants and wildlife.

Close to Senwick House lies the historic town of Kirkcudbright, famous for its artist's community.

The garden provides homes for a variety of wildlife. Deer can be seen regularly grazing in the orchard during Autumn, or wandering over the lawns at anytime, especially during the early morning. Rabbits, Fox, Pheasant, Red Kites, Owls and the occasional Red Squirrel all appear throughout the year. Bird feeders are in demand and have to be topped up often! Woodpecker and Red Squirrel also visit the feeders.

Senwick House’s setting is unique, like no other

Our comfortable family-run home, registered for 17 residents, enjoys a happy relaxed atmosphere where residents' individuality and independence are respected.

Our caring, trained staff are registered with the SSSC. They are available twenty-four hours a day to assist with personal needs, accompany residents on walks in the ground, join in social activities or simply to chat. Visitors are welcome at all times.
